Most reactions to adult events are fueled by subconscious reminders of childhood wounds. When those wounds are addressed, they no longer hold power over adult life.

Using Pia Mellody's Post-Induction Therapy, Amy helps clients move beyond the impact of childhood as they identify wounds, release negative emotions still carried, and learn to re-parent their inner child.

Using Relational Life Therapy, a model created by Terry Real, Amy helps clients develop relationships in which they are both cherished and cherishing. Unlike the neutrality of traditional couples therapy, RLT gets to the heart of relationship issues, addressing problems directly and teaching couples to be truly intimate.

Amy's approach is heavily influenced by her trainings with Pia Mellody ("Facing Codependency") and Terry Real. She has extensive experience dealing with issues of depression, anxiety, relationships, sexual addiction and sexual abuse. Amy also utilizes EMDR and Neurofeedback in her practice to address the impact of trauma. In addition to her private practice, she coaches other therapists training in Relational Life Therapy.
