Julie is a Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist (DARTT) with extensive training in the work of Pia Mellody. Healing Our Core Issues supports clients in a psychodynamic counseling approach that includes family of origin work, attachment theory, mindfulness, and somatic experience. Her background in education and passion for life-long learning offers clients a relational approach to psychoeducation and neuroscience. Julie has completed the couples training.

Julie has completed advanced Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) trauma training to support foster and adoptive families and children from hard places. In addition, Julie is certified in EMDR Therapy to support clients in resourcing strengths and reprocessing stuck places.
