My Website

My journey, like yours, has been one of learning to grow through life's challenges. I've discovered how to work through issues, finding growth and freedom with tools for communicating with my spouse, parenting my children, navigating family dynamics and other challenges that hinder my relationships. My life path has given me a passion for helping others connect in respectful and meaningful ways, because I have walked through relational challenges, just like you.

My straightforward approach will help you process your own life journey in a safe place. You can experience relational restoration and healing from the inside out. I am dedicated to empowering you to find clarity for your life and resolutions for your challenges. My goal is to get to the heart of the matter quickly as I walk with you on your journey.

I offer spiritually-informed care to those seeking this perspective. I will use my training, compassion and your input to create a treatment plan that is right for you. I am a licensed clinical social worker and received my master's degree in clinical social work from the University of St. Thomas.

I have completed basic training with Hope for the Hurting Home in faith-based discernment counseling and have been trained by Dr. Bill Doherty at the Doherty Relationship Institute in the model he developed which is Discernment Counseling.

I am also a certified Relational Life Therapist (RLT). RLT was created by Terry Real as a straight-forward approach with couples that gets to the core of their behavior in the relationship and strategies to effectively function in their relationship. I have completed 300+ hours of training in Pia Mellody's Post Induction Therapy Model.

I have been married for over 20 years and am the mother of two adult daughters. When not counseling, you can find me drinking a great cup of coffee, running, listening to music or hanging with family and friends.
