Michael Bass, MA, LPC, LMT, BASE-P, SEP
Michael R. Bass has been in private practice since 2001 working with individual adult and adolescent clients, couples and groups. He received his Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State).
His current focus is using the Post Induction Therapy (PIT) program, developed by Pia Mellody, as the foundation for his practice. This program explores each client's trauma history as a child and the resulting core issues that impact the client's adult life and relationships. PIT further assists clients in the education, skill building and deep healing that helps them experience more functional relationships and more peace and joy in adulthood.
Michael is also facilitating his Innocence to Surrender: Reclaiming Your Authentic Self family of origin workshops throughout the year.
Mr. Bass is affiliated with the Life Church Counseling referral in Leander, Texas. He has also taught classes and groups at Riverbend Church in Austin, facilitated support groups for 8 years at McNeil High School and presented lectures/workshops for small groups and civic organizations.
