Although I am new to the profession of therapy, my experience is enlightened by a rich and varied life. The first 35 years of my adulthood were wild and varied. I have owned a window washing business on the beaches of L.A., been a logger and a commercial fisherman in Southeast Alaska, was a professional photographer, and also the Chief of Staff to a big city mayor for ten years. As a consequence of my travels and adventures, I landed in federal prison, had a liver transplant, and found a new life in recovery.

Having begun my own healing of trauma and recovery, I am drawn to helping others like myself. As a clinician, I try to listen compassionately to my client's, with an eye on helping them establish a vision for growth and healing and the steps to achieve this.  As a person in recovery, I believe my role as a therapist permits me the privilege to live my life in service to others. For this I am grateful for the opportunity to work with those suffering from trauma and addiction.

I currently hold a masters degree in education with an emphasis on psychology and counseling. I am working as a therapist in a community mental health setting in Plymouth MA seeing patients while completing supervision necessary for my licensure in mental health counseling, LMHC. In addition to counseling clients, I enjoy writing, window washing, wood cutting, photography and studying the local and national, political theater.
