Bassie Gugenheim, LCSW

Bassie is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice with more than 10 years of counseling experience. Using Pia Mellody’s work as her foundational modality, Bassie also incorporates her extensive training in EMDR, Ego Sate Therapy, Somatic Intervention, and ACT according to individual needs. She also has a sandplay room which is very helpful for those who are uncomfortable sharing with words, and is trained in couples therapy as well.

Bassie's niche is helping individuals replace negative core beliefs with positive feelings about themselves, others and the world, and helping couples in distress. Whatever your dream, as an individual or as a couple, if there is something getting in the way of your achieving it, she will help you identify what it is and work through the blocks, utilizing a combination of modalities that works best for you, so that you can get to your goal.
