Susan Sirriani, MA, LMFT
Susan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who practices from a systemic perspective believing that our relationships in life, both present and past, influence how we live our lives.
Susan has worked with a wide variety of clients - men, women, couples, and families - all dealing with a wide variety of issues. Some of the issues she has experience working with are depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, spiritual issues, self-esteem, empowerment, sexual addiction, sexual perpetration, sexual victimization, incest, sibling abuse, 12-step programs, anger management as well as others.
Susan has been trained by Pia Mellody in the PIT model of therapy, with 10 years of experience in Pia's model. She also utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to heal trauma and to help with decreasing reactivity to triggering messages. Susan's clients find it helpful to combine the two modalities to heal the negative beliefs and traumatic events in their lives.
Susan also leads 3-day Experiential Workshops for clients, including traveling to other cities/states to lead these workshops. Please see this brochure for more information. Susan also provides training and consultation in the PIT model for other therapists.
