Back in the early 2000’s when I trained with Pia Mellody in Arizona, I was drawn to her work because it addressed so much of what I knew my clients struggled with. I had the great fortune to attend, as a participant, her ‘Survivors’ workshop. I was able to look at my own family of origin story and really understand the impact of my childhood trauma and how it shows up in my life as an adult today. As my life healed, I prospered, and I realized I wanted to become experienced and fluent in her model, called Post Induction Therapy (PIT).

Years later, in 2008, I created an electronic listing of clinicians who had become proficient in her techniques so people around the country could find and receive treatment in her model. I realized that a directory was an easy way to access these professionals and more individuals could experience the healing power of her work.

The Healing Trauma Network is a directory of professionals working with developmental and relational trauma. All the clinicians use the Post Induction Model or the Healing Our Core Issues Model in their practices as well as other current and pioneering techniques, such as body-based trauma work, attachment-focused work, psychodrama, EMDR, addictions treatment, and other cutting-edge treatments available today.
